Cars fly through this stretch and there are two cross walks, but without speed bumps or flashing lights, cars rarely stop for pedestrians. I am on 29th street and there are numerous children and pet owners that walk towards the strand, but cars often don't stop because they don't realize there is a crosswalk.

DO NOT INSTALL A TRAFFIC CIRCLE AT AVIATION & PROSPECT.
I live on 8th Street between Valley and PCH and notice that many people use this street to get access to the PCH. Often times, they drive extremely fast speeds, forgetting that it is a residential area with children walking or biking to and from school. Additionally, last month a young woman flipped her car right in front of my house, in the early morning hours, due to speed and hitting a parked car. I ask that speed bumps or radar are installed to prevent any future accidents.
This is a very busy intersection. Replacing stop signs with signal lights will allow for smoother flow of traffic on Pier Ave, and prevent cars traveling on Ardmore Ave and Valley Dr from speeding while trying to make it through the intersection. This will also make it safer for pedestrians to cross the streets.
